Abstract

Despite the fact that the West Asia region is among the world's privileged regions in terms of geopolitical and geostrategic features, but still we witness that this strategic area is always faced with a large number of governmental and non-governmental actors and non-linear behavior patterns, which in turn leads to chaos. And the complexity of this environment has increased. The remarkable point that exists in the meantime is that, despite the mentioned problems, due to its special position in the regional power structure, the Republic of Iran is bound to adopt coherent, continuous and far-sighted strategies to create intra-regional ideas, structures and discourses as well as create interaction. with the surrounding environment in line with securing its national interests.Based on the mentioned materials, the authors of the present study have tried to answer the question of why, with a descriptive-analytical approach, what are the fields and capacities of the Republic of Iran for the purpose of regionalism in the strategic area of West Asia?
