Iran's criminal policy against bioterrorism in the light of international documents

Abstract

The importance of security threats of bioterrorism and its widespread effects have increased international attention in dealing with this phenomenon. In Iran, in some strategic documents regarding macro approaches, such as the law of the fifth five-year development plan, the Ministry of Information has been responsible for planning the fight against this type of terrorism. This article tries to explain the concept of bioterrorism, which is an anti-security measure, and examines the strategic approaches of international documents and Iran's criminal policy in dealing with this phenomenon. The final conclusion of this article, which is done in a descriptive-analytical and library method, observes that although Iran's criminal policy in the light of criminal strategies of international documents, positive steps to deal with bioterrorism and It has been prevented, but there are still gaps in this regard that need to be investigated and decided upon.
