1. The publication of the World Politics Journal commenced in the summer of 2012.
2. Since its inception, this journal has been published by the University of Guilan in collaboration with the Iranian Association of International Relations.
3. The journal holds a scientific-research ranking from its first issue, based on license number 8766/18/3 dated April 6, 2013, issued by the Publication Commission of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology. According to the latest journal evaluation guidelines, it is classified as a scientific journal with Grade B status and is listed in the waiting list of core journals in the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC).
4. Only original scientific research articles are acceptable for submission and publication in this journal.

6. According to statistical data and the article acceptance process, the average peer review period is two weeks, and the entire evaluation process, including subsequent stages, takes a maximum of six months.
7. The peer review process is conducted electronically and double-blind. Acceptance of articles requires approval from at least two reviewers.
8. The journal is published quarterly (four issues per year), and a maximum of one article per author is accepted within any four consecutive issues.
9. This journal uses the similarity detection software "IranDok" for final article evaluation.

12. Article processing fee: According to Circular No. 40879 issued by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology on February 13, 2022, this journal is permitted to charge up to 6,000,000 Rials (equivalent to 600,000 Tomans) for accepted articles. A non-refundable fee of 3500,000 Rials is charged exclusively for articles that are accepted and scheduled for publication. This amount must be paid to the University of Guilan’s account via the following link: Journals / Scientific Journal Management.

 An additional fee of 2500,000 Rials is charged for layout and typesetting of articles scheduled for publication. Please note that all typesetting responsibilities lie with the authors. The journal only facilitates this process by assigning the typesetting work to a professional designer upon authors’ request and receipt of the typesetting fee. The typesetting fee should only be paid upon official notification through the journal’s website. The journal acts solely as a facilitator in the typesetting process and in the transfer of the aforementioned fee to the typesetter. This typesetting fee is not deducted from the 600,000 Tomans cap. The journal only receives 3500,000 Rials directly into the University of Guilan’s account and does not collect any amount beyond this.
