Russia was one of the biggest players in Iran's political scene during the Constitutional Revolution. This country, which always tried to reach the warm waters of the Persian Gulf, considered Iran a region for economic exploitation with strategic possibilities and tried to exert pressure through it against British interests in India. Therefore, from the perspective of Russian interests, Iran should remain independent on the one hand and be dominated by the Russians on the other. Therefore, the Constitutional Revolution, which was considered a rebellion against this policy and a move towards a democratic national government, threatened Russian interests in Iran. For this reason, the Russian government stood up to support the despots and the constitutionalist opponents. Supporting Mohammad Ali Shah in closing the first parliament and issuing an ultimatum to Iran to expel Morgan Schuster and close the second parliament, opposing the constitutionalist reforms and creating disruption, insecurity and political instability, and military occupation of large parts of Iran are examples of the Russians' open opposition to the Iranian Constitutional Revolution. In this article, these works have been analyzed using a descriptive-analytical method based on collecting data and information in a library manner.
